Tropic of Capricorn infuses non-profit energy into a for profit business. Our community involvement includes close associations with many not for profit groups.

Our community room is often busy with periodic committee meetings of nonprofit organizations, writers groups, neighborhood associations, and occasionally, even the county fire department. 

We also host many community events, such as pet adoptions for animal rescue groups and special weekends that focus on relevant topics like low water landscaping, wildfire prevention, pest outbreaks and rainforest conservation.

We welcome the arts community by sponsoring local art exhibits, book signings, poetry readings and performances.

We give back to the community by offering our space for benefits with a percentage of the day's sales going to select nonprofits. We host honorary ceremonies and fundraising events. We also give considerable in-kind and monetary contributions to nonprofits of all kinds each year.
